Oge and I have been working very hard to get our grant proposal project functioning. We were fortunate to have Ms. Estrada be a very helpful advisor for this project. She has helped us narrow down which company we wanted to work with. She also helped us craft an email and sent it to the head of the company. Oge and I have decided to work with the company Young and healthy. We wanted to collaborate with the organization because we are very invested in proper care and health for children. We believe it is important to advocate for children's health care needs. We want to help these children and their families that have language barriers by providing translation services. We are hoping these services can help children and their families understand the care they are receiving, so they can become active participants in their own health care. Oge and I will be meeting with the head of the program sometime this week to solidify the plans.
