Jessica Jackley came to poly to elaborate on her life story as an entrepreneur, and what made her story incredibly interesting and believable was not the way she delivered it, but rather the manner in which she displayed her kindness. She was an incredibly kind person that which I believed was one of her better attributes. Jackley had a very interesting life story that began at the Stanford Business school. She realized through school that she wanted to help people through direct contact. She created the website Kiva to aid low-income entrepreneurs. The company allows bigger more experienced entrepreneurs to help those that are just starting or don't have the funds to start. She explained to us that her company reached up to about one billion dollars in loans which is incredible. What really amazed me was that she was only 42 years old and has done so much in her life.
