Corona Across the States

I recently had a coordinated dialogue with a couple seeds from New York and Los Angeles. Unfortunately because of the virus, we have been unable to have dialogue in person. We would usually meet with the other LA seedlings every month or so, but we have been forced to meet over zoom every two weeks. This past weekend was the first time that we had had a dialogue with seeds from outside of Los Angeles. We split into small groups and discussed questions based on the covid-19 virus. I was lucky enough to be in a dialogue group with two seeds from New York. They talked about how dull and boring life was in their community. Something that was hard to take in was the number of children who had parents that worked in hospitals. One of the girls in my dialogue had to move out of her house because her father was a doctor. She told me that she was extremely proud of her father for taking care of these covid-19 victims, but she feared she would never be able to see him again. It really makes me think about how fortunate and sheltered I am.
